Strike Releases New Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro Vehicle Mount

Brisbane, October 16, 2019 – Strike Group, the world’s leading handsfree tech company, is proud to introduce its latest custom-designed tablet holder for Samsung’s newest rugged device: the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro.

The Galaxy Tab Active Pro is safeguarded from dust and water with IP68 protection and its protective cover provides MIL-STD-810g protection to ensure that the tablet can withstand impacts from up to 1.2 meters in height. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is also designed with a bigger screen for a better display of information. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro’s screen is usable even when using gloves or users can choose to work with Samsung’s S Pen.

In addition, Galaxy Tab Active Pro is the first rugged device to be equipped with Samsung Dex compatibility. Enterprise users can now connect the Galaxy Tab Active Pro to external displays and USB devices such as a mouse and keyboard. Strike has designed a Dex compatible vehicle mount for the Galaxy Tab Active Pro. Public safety agencies tend to be regular customers for these types of mounts.

Furthermore, the Strike Alpha Galaxy Tab Active Pro vehicle dock is designed with an internal passive antenna – a helpful feature for fleets travelling to low-signal areas. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro tablet device can gain up to 7dBi in signal power when connected with a Strike antenna.

Strike Alpha cradles with an NFC Extender and Lockable versions are also available. Its lockable version is designed to secure the tablet device and deter theft, especially in public locations.
