  • Q: Does this SKU include the hardware needed to bolt it to a flat surface?
    A: No, the hardware required to install this mount is not included. Because these are mounted to such a wide variety of materials and applications we do not know what hardware to provide. The best resource for that type of information is usually a local hardware store or the manufacturer of the vehicle you are mounting to.
  • Q: What screws are used to attach the RAM Mount to the gimbal bracket?
    A: Typically the gimbal bracket included with your fishfinder will also come with mounting screws that should connect to the RAM® mounting plate. As these mounts are universal and are for many different applications, the necessary hardware needed for each application will vary. For marine applications, RAM® recommends stainless steel hardware to prevent corrosion.

RAM-D-115 consists of a base with a 2.25” diameter D size ball, a standard arm and a 6.25” x 2” marine electronic plate with a D size ball for supporting larger devices. This marine electronic plate contains different combinations of pre-drilled holes and is a direct fit for 9”-12” fishfinder gimbal brackets. Supports devices such as the Lowrance HDS-9 Gen2 Touch, Garmin GPSMAP 7407 and more.
