A: The fan included with the Tough Cases like the RAM-HOL-TC-SAM54FU uses an SAE splitter, the RAM-GDS-CAB-SAE-SPLIT. That is connected to one of the hardwire chargers to provide power to both the Tough Case (or Tough Dock) and the fan. - Q: Can this be used in portrait mode
