IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Strike Launches Gift Guide for Father's Day

BRISBANE, July 30, 2015 – Australian legislation prohibits drivers from holding their mobile phones whilst driving. Drivers are only allowed to make and receive calls and use GPS navigation if their mobile phone is mounted in a commercially manufactured phone holder, such as a Strike Alpha Cradle.

To comply with these laws, Strike has announced the perfect gift guide for tech savvy dads this Father’s Day.

Strike has bundled a Strike Alpha Cradle with a portable Bluetooth hands-free car kit, the Strike Boss. Customers who purchase a Strike Alpha Cradle between 1-6 September 2015 will receive a free Strike Boss car kit.

Installation of both the Strike Alpha Cradle and Strike Boss is very easy. The phone holder mounts onto either the dashboard or windscreen. The portable Strike Boss clips onto the driver’s sun visor. Once phone is placed in the cradle and paired with Strike Boss, drivers will be able to enjoy hands-free access to their tablet, iPad or mobile phone.

Strike Group has a wide range of cradles available including phone specific options, wireless charging and universal. These can also be used with a rugged or Strike clear case.

Strike Alpha Cradles not only charge the phone but it also includes a passive antenna which helps boost network signal especially in rural areas once connected with an external antenna. The cradles are available for either a professional install or DIY version which makes installation more convenient. Users of Android and iPhone 6 may even utilize the embedded Near Field Communication (NFC) chip which allows NFC enabled phone users to automatically control phone functions when the device is placed in the Alpha Cradle. Additionally, it has the capacity to accept 12/24 Volt charging making it great for various vehicle types.
