Strike announces the release of its newest Alpha Cradle for Apple iPhone 6
BRISBANE, Sept. 10, 2014 – Strike Group announces the early release of an Alpha specific
car cradle for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. This has made the company the first car cradle
manufacturer in the world to release a phone specific cradle for the iPhone 6.
Strike started shipping its newest addition to the Strike Alpha range on September 10 (GMT+10), the same date (EST) when iPhone 6 was announced.
Following the release of the Strike Alpha iPhone 6 cradle, Strike engineers are now working on iPhone 6 cradles for use with the Official Apple Cases, Otterbox Defender Cases and Lifeproof cases. These will be available sometime in mid September. An iPhone 6 Alpha cradle which comes with a free transparent case is also available for purchase now. Users can directly attach their iPhone 6 handset with Apple, Otterbox, Lifeproof or Strike transparent cases into the Strike Alpha iPhone 6 cradles for added security and convenience.
The cradle also comes with a Made for iPhone (MFi) certified connector, an accessory which is fully compatible with iPhones to meet Apple specific standards.
According to Strike CEO Chris Ryan, the team has been receiving pre-orders for the last 2 months for the iPhone 6 cradle range. The product design engineers also shared that the product has Near Field Communication (NFC) connectivity which was previously only available for Android phones. Strike Alpha cradles are embedded with NFC chips allowing users to automate phone functions.
The Strike Alpha Range is fully compliant with Australian road laws. The product not only minimises driver distraction but also enhance the mobile and driving experience with its hands-free tech.
