How do I pair 3200 LS with my cell phone/ Smart phone / or PDA?
Make sure Bluetooth® is switched ON on the mobile phone. Then, SETTINGS, PAIR WITH PHONE. If your mobile phone is not displayed in the list, select OTHER PHONE. A pairing code will be displayed (for example 2256). When PAIR YOUR PHONE is displayed, you may start searching via Bluetooth for the 3200 LS. When 3200 LS is found, dial 2256 on the cell phone to complete the pairing. PAIRING SUCCESSFUL will be displayed at the end of the synchronisation.

I’m trying to pair my mobile phone but the 3200 LS says “Memory Full”?
5 Bluetooth devices have already been paired with the car-kit. You must delete one from the
car-kit if you wish to proceed. Make sure that the car-kit displays the message “Goodbye!” when you switch off the engine. If it does not happen, the red and orange wires of the power cable have been reversed. You will then have to replace the fuses of both the orange and red wires with one another.

How can I upgrade my 3200 LS via Bluetooth?

If updating via the Update Cable, which must be done if the unit is having the "P" issue, the cable plugs into the LCD screen, not the databox. To power the kit once the update has reached the XPRAM Downloading stage plug in the USB cable to the computer, this will power the screen and allow for a successful software update. 

I’m not alone in the car, so I don’t want my call to be heard through the speakers?
When the conversation is on through the car-kit, press the green button and the
communication will be transferred on the mobile phone.

Is it possible to have more than one mobile phone connected to the 3200 LS?
No, 5 mobile phones can be paired to the car-kit, but only one Bluetooth connection is
possible. You may disconnect Bluetooth on the mobile phone you don’t want to connect or just disconnect it from the car-kit, SETTINGS, PAIRED DEVICES, select the phone and DISCONNECT

How do I delete pairing between the car-kit and my cellular phone?
SETTINGS, PAIRED DEVICES, select the mobile phone and DELETE – Press the green
button to confirm

How can I know the software version of my 3200 LS?
SETTINGS, INFORMATION – 2.0x should be displayed

When I switch the engine off, the recorded voice tags have disappeared?
Always make sure that the car-kit displays the message “Goodbye!” when you switch off the
engine. If it does not happen, the red and orange wires of the power cable have been
reversed. You should check the installation.

My car is equipped with more than two speakers, but I can only listen to the
conversation through the two front speakers?
Yes – Internal amplifier of the car-kit has output for two speakers. The mute cable will take
care of switching of the signal for the other two speakers of the car.

How do I make a call using voice recognition?
Recording the voice tag:
First of all, mobile phone must be connected to the car-kit
You must have contacts in the PHONEBOOK menu of the car-kit. ”Peter” for example.
Select SETTINGS, CONTACT MANAGEMENT, RECORD A VOICE TAG,
and follow the instructions displayed – The voice tag has to be recorded twice
It is important to record once and for all ALL of the keywords “Phone”, “Hang up”,
“Home”, “Work”, “Cellular”, “General”, “Other”, “Preferred” through SETTINGS, VOICE
COMMANDS, KEYWORDS.
We recommend to set the microphone volume to 75% because a low level may cause
activation too easy of the voice tag
Place a call using voice recognition:
To call a contact which has one phone number associated, say “Phone” (or press the
green button), you will hear a “bip”, say PETER and the car-kit will start dialling the
phone number.
To call a contact which has more than one phone number associated, say “Phone” (or
press the green button), you will hear a first “bip”, say PETER, you will hear a second
“bip”, say CELLULAR and the car-kit will start dialling the number. If you wish to call
PETER at home, you will have to say HOME instead of CELLULAR.

I am unable to delete contacts from the car-kit’s phonebook.
If the phonebook synchronization is automatic you cannot delete contacts form the car
kit

How do I erase a contact from the car-kit?
You need to go to the following menu on the car kit :
SETTINGS, PHONEBOOK MANAGEMENT, SELECT a name, DELETE CONTACT

I cannot listen to the person who’s calling me?
Make sure the conversation is not in private mode. If not, make sure you hear the car-kit voice
menu. If not, it might be a faulty unit.

I have a Samsung mobile phone. I cannot send my contacts in the 3200 LS?
Software versions older that 2.03c do not allow to push contacts through Bluetooth in the 3200LS

Is it possible to send the contacts from another Bluetooth device?
First of all, on the 3200 LS display, you must have your mobile displayed as
DISCONNECTED from the car-kit. To do so you need to choose the menu SETTINGS /
CONTACTS MANAGEMENT / RECEIVE CONTACT.
From the mobile phone, select a contact, select OPTIONS MENU and choose SEND, VIA
BLUETOOTH to the car-kit. When the contact is received, it will be displayed in the PHONEBOOK.

How can I associate a picture to a contact?
For some mobile phones, it is necessary to have at least software version 2.02.
To associate a picture to a contact, go into SETTINGS, CONTACTS MANAGEMENT,
SELECT A NAME, ASSOCIATE A PICTURE
PENDING PICTURE will be displayed – From your mobile phone, select a picture,
SEND VIA BLUETOOTH, LOOK FOR DEVICES, 3200LS
When picture is sent, an icon will be displayed next to the contact
The picture of the caller will be displayed for incoming calls

How can I change the wallpaper of my 3200 LS?
For some mobile phones, it might be necessary to adjust the size of the picture to a 160x128
pixels. Only JPG pictures can be added.
To add a new picture, go into SETTINGS, DISPLAY, WALLPAPER, ADD A
WALLPAPER
PENDING WALLPAPER will be displayed – From your mobile phone, select a picture,
SEND VIA BLUETOOTH, LOOK FOR DEVICES, 3200 LS
When picture is sent, go into SETTINGS, DISPLAY, CHOOSE WALLPAPER and
choose the latest picture sent

When trying to pair a new phone with the 3200LS, no passcode is shown on the passcode entry screen just the letter "p".
A software update is required.
You will need a serial update cable, as it will not be possible to update using bluetooth (pass code will not be generated correctly)

How do I do a software update with the serial update cable?
You will need a laptop running XP / Vista and the correct serial cable. Visit the Parrot website to download and install the Parrot update software. Run the update programme and download the CK3200 update file. Locate the blue databox of the CK3200 in the vehicle. Unplug the power and accessory connector. Plug in the serial update cable and the power lead - the CK3200 will then be updated.
