A Strike Case Study
Strike values road safety above anything else; they pride themselves in designing and manufacturing custom device mounting solutions for their clients.
Recently, a road safety fleet organisation approached Strike for a bespoke metal mounting solution. They required 800 heavy-duty device holders that could effectively integrate their smart devices onto their fleet’s vehicles.
What we did
According to their wishes, Strike Group – the Brisbane-based handsfree tech company – engineered a custom version of their Strike Alpha Car Cradle that had metal threads moulded into its housing. Each cradle was engineered to withstand up to a 25 g crash test.
Strike then placed their lockable cradle-heads in a prominent position in the vehicle. As well as holding and protecting, the custom Strike Alpha Car Cradle was designed to charge the device for as long as the vehicle was running.
Finally, to complete the mounting solution, Strike utilised RAM mounts to specifically position the devices into the road safety fleet’s vehicles.
As a Result
Strike successfully installed 800 devices into their respective Strike Alpha Car Cradles coupled with RAM mounts and then into the vehicles.
Strike’s innovative solution allowed the road safety fleet organisation to be able to carry out their work safely while knowing that their devices would be charged, protected, and accessible at all times.
