Strike has released a line of powerful cradles for the Panasonic Toughbook FZ-T1. Strike Alpha Panasonic Toughbook FZ-T1 holders are designed to complement the rugged enterprise quality of the Panasonic Toughbook. These car mounts are highly durable and are engineered to 25g crash standards.

To demonstrate the charging efficiency of the Strike Alpha Panasonic FZT1 vehicle mount, Strike conducted a full power road test. The Panasonic Toughbook FZ-T1 is mounted with a full set up using a Strike Alpha Cradle, a RAM Mount, and a Strike B2 antenna connected using the cradle’s FME connector. Strike Alpha Cradles are flexible and can be used with other mounting options in the market such as the RAM.
In this demonstration, the Panasonic Toughbook T1 was set on full load by first opening the turn-by-turn navigation app via GPS. The screen was turned to full adaptive brightness. A full-screen Youtube video was streamed in the background with music playing over A2DP streaming via Bluetooth to the car stereo. All of these would be running for a ten-minute drive to see what the battery charge will be whilst charging on a Strike Alpha Cradle.
The Panasonic Toughbook T1’s battery life before driving is 13%. After 10 minutes of driving with the Panasonic Toughbook FZ-T1 on full load and charging on the Strike Alpha cradle, the battery life is 15%. That’s an increase of 2% in just 10 minutes even when the handheld is consuming a lot of power.

Strike specifically developed a 3 amp 12/24v for pro-installation version and 2.4 amp for the DIY version of Panasonic Toughbook FZT1 holder and charger to ensure that mission-critical applications never run out of power. The Toughbook FZ-T1 vehicle dock also comes with lockable features for premium device security. Users can mount and use the device in public without worrying about theft.
Additionally, Strike has released Desktop Charging Dock Station for FZ-T1. The Toughbook T1 Desktop Dock Station is available in two options: Strike Panasonic Toughbook FZ-T1 Desktop Charging Dock and Strike Panasonic Toughbook FZ-T1 5-Pack Desktop Charging Dock. With the dock’s modular design, one can easily attach the handheld to the set-up and charge it hassle-free.
