It allows users to focus on the main screen with minimal distraction.

Screen Display and Design
The Galaxy Note 4 and Edge, boasts a superior screen display. With a pretty impressive Quad HD Super AMOLED (2,560 x 1,440 resolution) that stretches to 500 pixels per inch. To put it in perspective, Note 4 and Edge both have four times the usual HD resolution. They also announced the adaptive display that automatically adjusts the screen display depending on the brightness of ambient light. It lets your phone to adapt to any environment and still be able to use it efficiently.
Design wise, Samsung maintains its stand in having 5.7 inch screen display for Note 4 and a 5.6 inch screen for Note Edge. Both have metal frames, and a 2.5 D glass front.
The Note 4 and Edge have upgraded their cameras to 16MP. Unlike previously reported which states that they will be releasing a 20MP rear-camera, Samsung instead focuses on improving their image quality with Smart Optical Image Stabilisation, which helps in avoiding blurred images whenever you take pictures.
The front camera has a 3.7 MP sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, allowing a better image quality for selifies or even for group pictures. It also has a sensor that enables you to snap pictures that looked more natural with its 90-degree field of view.
One of the most innovating accessory ever is the improved S-Pen. The stylus, had been intricately designed to be more useful by doubling its sensitivity to mimic your writing style. The S-pen also has two options: fountain and calligraphy. The fountain lets you feel a unique sensation, as if you’re writing on a piece of paper. It can also be used as a mouse to hover and select multiple items on the screen.
For our busy folks, multi-tasking becomes easy as Samsung introduces multi-window feature for their flagship products. Its free flowing and natural multi-tasking feature allows its users to choose from single window to recent apps, split and pop-up window displays.
Gap Gate and Bendgate Issue
Amidst Apple’s bendgate issue, Korean consumers that bought the Note 4 noticed a gap between the screen and its frame that was huge enough to fit business cards. While others say that it shouldn’t be that way, Samsung had firmly stated that it is part of the design that is due to its 2.5d glass and definitely won’t cause any problems or harm to your smartphone.
When Apple iPhone 6 was first released, Samsung was one of the several manufacturers and companies who mocked it, stating that Apple iPhone 6 plus would bend inside your pocket.
Now, Unbox Therapy reviewed and tested the bendgate issue by doing some tests, to try out if Samsung Galaxy 4 can withstand some pressure or if will it bend like the iPhone 6 Plus. Turns out, that the Note 4 also bends when applied with enough pressure.
